Manuscript essay on Kipling by a young girl, with photographs, drawings, poems, and a letter bound in. The photographs are of Belvedere House, where Kipling lived in Allahabad, India; the drawings are fanciful sketches done by Kipling, with two poems on light subjects, and the letter is an undated note from him to H. Rider Haggard, declining a social invitation. Bound in red half calf over white boards, with light green patterned endpapers.
